I love to infuse the Calendula into oil from moon to moon. Any Organic, cold pressed oil will do. Just place the flowers in a jar and top completely with oil. Place a lid on the jar and leave on a sunny window for 4 weeks. Shake daily. Then strain.
HERBAL INFUSED VINEGAR
Again, the calendula flowers work wonders for this preparation as they have powerful anti microbial properties. A vinegar infused with herbs is used to top salads, take as shot to awaken the system or used as a sipping vinegar before meals to better the digestion of food. Place the dried calendula in a jar and cover completely with vinegar. Place a layer of department paper in between the neck of the jar and the lid, then tighten. Shake daily. Allow to infuse in a dark place for 4 weeks then strain.
Every batch is a unique blend so no one is the same. Listed below are the ingredients that you can find in the floral blend. I am continuously added beautiful flowers as they come into bloom so keep an eye out! If you would like certain flowers please let me know as I blend to order.
